We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products and services in the Aviation industry.About the Role:ReportingThe Avionics Technician reports directly to the Avionics Shop Manager.Core CompetenciesExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenPositive attitude, team playerProblem-solvingProfessionalismSelf-motivated, dedicated to learningKey Performance Indicators / Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance, repair, and modification on aircraft as assigned to them and as required under supervision by a licensed technician.Ensure all maintenance and safety precautions are observed when carrying out assigned activities.Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately.Report unserviceable equipment to their assigned licensed technician and/or lead technician.Notify assigned licensed and/or lead technician of all defects discovered during routine maintenance.Communicate when tasks are complete so the next trade can move onto the job.Attending and completing training courses as assigned by company management.Ensure the work environment is safe and clean.Promote company values, vision and mission.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsExcellent organizational skills.Shows integrity, ingenuity, and assertiveness in the performance of tasks.Must have strong troubleshooting skills with good quality workmanship.Employee is expected to work towards obtaining their "E" license.ExperienceCurrently attending a Transport Canada approved AME program or completed a Transport Canada approved AME program.Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.Our recruitment commitments:We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Depending on qualifications, selected candidates may be offered a role at a more appropriate level.Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and pension plan.Avmax Group Inc. is dedicated to, and prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer.
