**About the Opportunity**

As a **Lead Hand**, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of our greenhouse. This role involves most aspects of our greenhouse production but is focused on overseeing daily operations, aligning production capacity with customer demand while ensuring full regulatory compliance, particularly with the **Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)**.

You’ll assist with developing and implementing production plans to maximize efficiency and yield and provide effective training to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained. You will be cross-trained and familiarized with multiple areas within the Greenhouse as there is a great deal of co-operation required with internal partners to successfully carry out your daily tasks.
- Organize workflow and staff
- Ensure area is clean and organized
- Ensure that orders are filled accurately and on time, with the correct labelling and cubing

**About You**

You're not just a Team Lead. Applicants should have problem-solving skills and experience working with processes and optimizing efficiency. Also, a sharp thinker, a systems person, and a skilled communicator. You should have the willingness to learn and operate motorized equipment, love diving into the details but never lose sight of the big picture: healthy plants, happy partners, and well-executed plans.

- Industry background in Greenhouse or Horticulture
- Familiar with Continuous Improvement principles
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
