We have an opening at our warehouse in Alexandria, Ontario.
Permanent contract. Full time.
**Key responsabilities**
1. Logistics Management:
- Oversee all logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, picking, and shipping.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure proper inventory and warehouse management.
2. Site Management:
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of facilities.
- Ensure site compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage relationships with external service providers (maintenance, security, carriers, etc.).
3. Employee Management:
- Supervise and manage a team of employees working in production and logistics.
- Participate in the recruitment, training and development of the team.
- Manage schedules and absences and ensure compliance with productivity targets.
4. Participate in operational tasks:
- Take an active role in the field by participating in various tasks (order preparation, loading/unloading, etc.).
- Be a role model for the team in terms of commitment and versatility.
**Education/training**
Degree in business administration, logistics or other related field.
**Required Skills**:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics site management or warehouse management.
Knowledge of logistics management software, warehouse management tools, and experience optimizing logistics processes.
Leadership skills.
Ability to motivate a team.
Versatility.
Team player.
Self-starter.
Languages: French and English, spoken and written.
