Riverview Enhanced Living is a community of care, support, and advocacy for adults with varying abilities. Riverview Enhanced Living is currently seeking a full time permanent **Human Resource Generalist **to join our team. The HR Generalist is responsible for coordinating all HR related activities such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and labour relations. In addition, the HR Generalist manages all union related matters involving front line staff. The HR Generalist supports the organization’s leaders in areas such as workplace investigations, training & development, performance & attendance management, and all other employee related matters.

**Core Job Functions**:

- Oversee all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process
- Develop strategies to support retention and employee engagement
- Assess and implement training and development programs
- Administer HR policies and procedures
- Handle workplace investigations and provide recommendations on potential resolutions
- Provide guidance on payroll and scheduling related matters
- Support employees with complaints and grievances

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- College or University education in the HR field. CPHR Designation considered an asset
- 3 years of progressive HR experience preferably in a unionized environment considered an asset

- You demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- You are able to work under minimum direction and act as a collaborative team player
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
