Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Planning and Analytics, the Logistics Strategy Analyst will take a strategic, data-driven approach to optimize distribution operations. This role will lead workforce and resource planning initiatives, build labour models, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement across logistics functions. Acting as a center of excellence for logistics intelligence, the analyst will support operational excellence through actionable insights and cross-functional collaboration.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain labour models and demand forecasts to guide resource allocation and route optimization.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost to serve performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements in areas such as labour planning, tank right-sizing and fleet utilization with intention to continually lower the CTS
- Analyze complex logistics data to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Create dashboards, presentations, and reports to support operational and capital planning decisions.
- Act as a liaison between logistics, operations, sales, customer service, and external partners to ensure strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to integrate regulatory requirements into logistics strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends, methodologies, and technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
- Lead innovative projects that enhance labour management, forecasting accuracy, and resource planning.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**What you bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics strategy, operations planning, or data analytics within a supply chain environment.
- Proven track record in workforce planning, demand forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
