**Job Summary**:
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is searching for a Front Desk Agent who will be reporting to Front Office Manager. Front Desk Agent will assist guests with any needs or questions that arise during check-in and checkout.

**Education & Experience**:

- Basic Qualifications- Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, CRT, record keeping, or word processing. May have need for good communication skills.
- This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of less than six months job-related experience.

- Significant portions (more than 50%) of daily assignments involve ergonomic risk, such regular repetitive tasks, forceful or prolonged exertions of the hands, vibration, cold temperatures, heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying of heavy objects, poor body mechanics, restrictive workstations, or awkward postures.
- Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures of Dolce.
- Position does not require travel to other Dolce properties or client locations. Work is completed on the property.

**Fundamental Requirements**:

- Essential Functions- Welcomes guests, solves minor problems, and ensures guests have a great stay.
- Enters data into computer, including some minor accounting functions.
- Registers guests in and out of the conference center. Establishes and secures proper guest credit. Handles any billing questions and inquiries.
- Solves guest-related problems within scope of authority.
- Enters wake-up call requests into PBX system.
- Generates reports for Front Desk, Engineering, and Housekeeping.
- Performs all accounting duties including posting charges, account settlements, and shift closing.
- Answers phones and relays messages to guests as well as other conference center associates.
- Brings mail, packages, and messages to guests as needed.
- Completes a daily shift audit and balances all account settlements, charges, etc. to the property management system. Handles all cash transactions and maintains a personal bank.
- Assist in the Health & Safety program by ensuring that section 28 of the OHSA and company/departmental health & safety policies and procedures are being followed.
- May be required to perform additional and / or different responsibilities from those set forth above.
- Participating in meetings
- This job is part of a formal work team within the department.
