**Details**:Temporary, Days, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

**Pay Scale**:$23.25 - $31.50 per hour

**Location**:Beverly Place Lodge 4410 117 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T5W 4Z8 _(travel between other GEF sites is required, mileage paid)_

**Typical Duties**:General building maintenance such as drywall repairs, zone valve replacements, thermostat maintenance, minor plumbing repairs, tracking and completing work orders, assisting Maintenance technicians as required, project work, preventative maintenance, and other duties as assigned.

**Experience/Education Preferences**:

- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and
- written is required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous work experience in a similar occupation or applicable education is desired
- Plumbing & HVAC Experience is desired
- 5th Class Power Engineering certificate is an asset
- Must have valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Strength in determining priorities with the need for flexibility
- Ability to meet deadlines and respond calmly to stressful situations

**Other Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills along with the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot

**The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal record check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.**

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $23.25-$31.50 per hour
