**Position: Early Childhood Educator**

**Split Shift**:This dynamic position involves a split shift in our vibrant before and after school program—perfect for those who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children throughout the day Shift times **range between** 6:30 - 9:30 am and 3:00 -5:45 pm.

**Job Type**: Full-time (40 hours per week).

**Pay**: $20.08 - $24.86 per hour, depending on your fabulous qualifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Two-year community college Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma, registered with the College of ECE and in good standing.
- Alternative qualifications include a Child and Youth Work Diploma, Bachelor’s in Child Studies, Recreation and Leisure Diploma/Recreation Leadership Degree, or Social Service Worker Diploma.
- High School diploma with a desire to dive into Early Childhood Education.
- Currently enrolled in part-time or online studies related to child studies.
- Up-to-date immunizations and a Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector (within the last 6 months).
- Letters of reference if under 19 years of age.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children through adherence to CPR and First Aid protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support children with special needs and disabilities.
- Maintain organized classroom materials and documentation to facilitate learning.
