**Junior Marketing Associate - Ole Originals**

**What we are looking for**:
We are seeking a JUNIOR MARKETING ASSOCIATE with a solid social media background, graphic design and photography/videography experience to be the lead in the implementation of our marketing strategy for Ole Originals.

**In this role, you can expect to be accountable for**:

- Creating visually compelling Social Media Content (graphics, images and videos) and execute marketing campaigns to build brand awareness that will translate directly to increased sales
- Maintaining Brand Consistency across all of our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
- Writing engaging, brand appropriate (and FUN) copy to accompany social media posts and marketing materials
- Monitoring social media channels and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Creating appealing retail signage and other point-of-purchase marketing materials (as needed)
- Participating in team brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for marketing, new products and graphics.
- Taking high-quality photographs and videos of products for use in marketing materials and social media
- Staying up-to-date with social media trends and best practices
- Other opportunities as they arise - including event planning and participating in Ole market booths

**Additional Assets for Success - not mandatory but any of these will help you succeed**:

- Working knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Forms)
- Influencer Marketing Experience
- You have worked with Shopify or another e-commerce platform
- Ideally you have experience with Hootsuite and Mailchimp (an asset but not required)

**Requirements**:

- Marketing Experience from courses or past internships
- Comfortable working across multiple social media platforms and channels
- Creative solution problem solving skills
- Solid graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Proficient in photography/videography and photo/video editing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Ole is a Vancouver born, Canada focused graphic t-shirt brand. We create all of our own graphics or partner with local artists to use theirs and print each one by hand in our East Van studio. Our customers often tell us their Ole shirt is their favourite shirt EVER - they love the fit, the graphics and the super soft durable fabric.

With our locally themed graphics we connect locals, no matter where they are. Whether they’re meeting someone new from Toronto after seeing their hometown shirt in Vancouver, repping Saskatoon overseas, or finding another proud Calgarian at The Slabs (if you know, you know), we help Canadians find new communities and connect with old neighbours in every province.

We sell online and have a growing wholesale business, selling to small independent retailers who love the Ole vibe as much as our customers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18-24 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
