We are seeking a manufacturing **Quality Control Inspector **to join our team at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Red Deer, Alberta. The Quality Control Inspector reports directly to the Production Manager and is responsible for performing inspection, testing and reporting results to ensure a consistent and high level of quality for all Q2 ALS products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Approve in-process production and finished product by conducting visual and dimensional inspection to manufacture drawings.
- Document inspection results in accordance with company procedure.
- Communicate, segregate and document non-conforming parts
- Perform routine maintenance on all measuring equipment’s.
- Maintain 5S and participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Communicate to all individuals effectively
- Participate in team meetings as required (Safety, problem solving, etc..,)
- Other QC duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ year’s quality inspection experience in manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the use of measuring tools such as micrometer, calipers, pitch mic, surface tester, thread gauges, height gages, depth gages etc.,
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerance
- Able to read blueprints
- Familiar with API and ISO standards
- Safety first mind-set
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to read and write in English
- Be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs.
