The Customer Service Sales Associate is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient service to customers. Advise customers on appropriate merchandise and related items: processing transactions (cash, credit card, debit card, sales on accounts and returns) using our POS system. The primary focus of this position is at the Service Counter. We offer employee discounts, Health & Dental Benefit Program, as well as a Group RRSP Plan, available to all our Full-Time Employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellence customer service
- Adhere to all policies/procedures/safety guidelines
- Ability to cover and assist in All Product & Service Departments in the store and Lumber Yard
- Open/close store independently
- Assist in Stock and processing purchase orders
- Assist in merchandise & visual presentation of store to maximize meeting customer service
- Participate in all training opportunities presented
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Experience in Retail Building Supplies/Hardware an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/including weekends
- Experience in a fast paced customer service environment
- Self-motivated and driven individual who can also work in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
