Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for technology and sales, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and assisting in creating a welcoming shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or merchandising are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling and product knowledge, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers
  • Engage in upselling to enhance customer purchases and meet sales goals
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote products
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts
  • Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries via phone or online channels
  • Support inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
  • Knowledge of technology products or technical sales is a plus
  • Bilingual abilities (English and other languages) are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for transactions
  • Experience with merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques will be advantageous
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and effective communication are essential for success in this role
