This individual is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the field sales organization. Typically supervises activities of sales force. ROBERTSON INC. POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: Western Regional Sales Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Sales DEPARTMENT: Sales Summary of Position: This position reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for driving growth and profitability in the traditional sales sector within the western region of Canada, which includes British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The incumbent will maintain effective communication with all Robertson Inc. customers and expand the company's presence in the fastener market. Accountabilities: Ensure that all current Robertson Inc. distributors in the region are positioned for growth through effective account management, collaboration at their customer levels, and clear communication between customers and Robertson Inc., including addressing technical requirements. Develop and grow new customers with the potential to become large "Green" house accounts. Maximize sales volume and gross margin for all accounts in the western region. Maintain pricing structure, literature, and marketing information for all Robertson Inc. product lines under the direction of the Director of Sales. Provide technical fastener sales support across all regions to all Robertson Inc. top customers as required. Inform and communicate with management regarding all market developments that might aid or hinder Robertson Inc. Ensure all monthly sales reports are submitted accurately and on time.
