**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well being of children.
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and promote career growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement child care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, and social development of children.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents and owner.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and community servic providers working with children.

**Qualifications**
- Must hold a two years RECE diploma, plus have two years of experience working with the age group (s) being supervised.
- Strong skills in recruiting, training development, and team leadership.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail for effective store management.
- Ability to motivate staff and create a positive work atmosphere.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Training & development: 2 years (required)
- Leadership: 2 years (required)
