Locally owned and operated, Vogue Theatre is one of the last remaining theatres from Vancouver’s famed Theatre Row. Originally built in 1941 as a movie house and venue for the performing arts, more than seventy years later, Vogue Theatre hosts upwards of 200 events annually.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, we are looking for a Bartender to join the Vogue Theatre team

**The Role Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for customers.
- Assess guests needs and preferences and make recommendations accordingly.
- Follow Steps of Service to ensure consistent experience.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menu and offerings and be able to make suggestions based on the guests needs.
- Maintain efficient levels of beer/wine/spirits.
- Responsible for completing tasks related to cleaning, maintenance and preparation of beverages.
- Properly handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory as needed.
- Maintain proper sanitation of the work area, including washing glasses and service equipment at bar areas.
- Replenish ice, as well as prepare food items needed in the preparation of drinks.
- Keep the bar and other work areas clean and organized.
- Clear auditorium seats and dance floor as needed.
- Effectively communicate with the team and offer support as their needs may require.
- Communicate effectively with Front of House and Back of House.
