BARTENDER JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Jungle Room Bartender, you will be responsible for providing a memorable experience for our guests through your knowledge and confidence in serving classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. We pride ourselves on delivering a unique cocktail experience and expect our bartenders to have a professional, high-energy attitude with excellent communication skills. The bartender will be able to greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, and suggest cocktail choices with a high level of hospitality to ensure our guests will want to continue coming back.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- High level of wine, liquor and cocktail knowledge is a must.
- Create a rapport with guest to ensure a fun and unique drinking experience to customers by making suggestions based on customers tastes and preferences.
- Attends to the details and presentation of each order
- Stays on top of cleanliness within the guidelines of the health and safety board. Adheres to the proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Ensures appropriate dating, labeling, and handling of expired product.
- Responsible for prepping certain bar product to ensure a successful service.
- Is in constant communication with barback on needs. (Bar stock, garnishes, keg changes, cleanliness etc.)
- Take orders, issue bills and process payments for guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Completes cleaning and prep according to the daily and weekly checklists each shift. This includes opening and closing duties to always ensure a clean bar.
- Record and balance cash out at the end of each shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.65-$16.00 per hour
