We are looking for a “Jack of all trades” to assist both our office manager and senior lab manager in their daily tasks. This role would be very versatile as you would be gaining experience in office reception and our seed laboratory. We are looking for a motivated individual who loves variety, communicates effectively, and has strong organizational skills.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
You must have the ability to communicate effectively and work constructively with others in a fast-paced environment. The ability to demonstrate solid decision making and problem-solving skills is essential.
Some specific details include but are not limited to:

- Be able to prioritize tasks during peak periods, and thrive in a detail-oriented environment.
- Manage and organize a large amount of paperwork for the lab, file copies, as well as final copies of certificates to be filed and mailed to customers.
- Data entry in an organized and timely fashion of samples entering the lab and lab results.
- Fiscal duties include mail and courier services, the responsibility of handling cheques received, processing credit card transactions from customers in person and over the phone.
- Prepare samples for germination, disease, and vigor testing for the lab technicians.
- Assisting the lab with cleaning of samples, and any other tasks related to the general flow and performance of the lab.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
