**Opportunity**

**This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions, but is not limited to**:

- Conduct basic spermiogram assessments, including sperm quality evaluation, bacteriology, and determination of sperm dose concentration.
- Ensure accurate recording and interpretation of spermiogram results. Sorting sex-sorted semen for breeding insemination purposes.
- Responsible for technical procedures such as data entry and record-keeping and quality control.
- Assist in organizing the lab and ensuring good housekeeping and biosecurity protocols are met by all staff and visitors.
- Exhibit proper handling of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents and/or radiation sources in the workplace.
- Work effectively to meet sperm sorting production requirements.
- The Lab Technician may be assigned independent projects and may also participate in the creation of special projects.
- Assist in sex-sorted semen flow cytometry equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with company-related matters. Maintain a positive attitude upon challenges,
- Performing other various lab duties as required.
- No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills with great attention to detail,
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Self-motivated to get the best results and reliable,
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills,
- Able to manage priorities and solve problems,
- High attention to detail.
