**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning tasks as needed.
- Food prep and dishwashing as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and the food industry is highly desirable.

Pay: $17.40-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
