**SUMMARY**

A&W Restaurant is looking for team member to fill one open position inside the food court of Capilano Mall at our North Vancouver, BC location. The Front of the House Team Member will be responsible for excellent guest services, serving food, hadling cash, assisting with food delivery and more. The Back of the House Team Member will be responsible for preparing food, cleaning, washing dishes, cooking, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the standard of A&W.
- Preparing food by cooking on a grill, fryer, making burgers, etc.
- Mixing ingredients for sauces, gravies etc.
- Check the cash drawer on the machine as needed to enter payment for food orders when payments are due. Be aware of inventory levels and make sure they are up to date before closing each shift. Be aware of any maintenance needed on the grill or other kitchen equipment or assist in obtaining them when necessary. Be aware of any safety issues or make sure they are being addressed by management before end of shift. Be aware of opening closing procedures and follow their instructions at all times. Be aware of opening closing shifts for shift change purposes if applicable in your shift time band (e.g., last minute orders). Be aware of any safety issues or assist in any safety matters before or after each shift. Other duties as assigned by management including opening cash register at end of shift if applicable (must be able to do) or washing dishes if applicable (must be able to do).

- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers at all levels in order to provide excellent guest service experiences.
- Must be able to read and write English; communicate clearly; speak politely; use good manners; work efficiently; maintain composure under pressure; follow company policies; perform assigned duties accurately; follow instructions; maintain composure during busy periods of service; work cooperatively with other staff members; work efficiently with limited supervision; have good time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks; have attention to detail; multi-task; and have fun while working

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
