**About the position**

**Main Duties**

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Organize and execute daily production schedule in the Final Assembly department.
- Understand, coach, and train employees to build luminaires as per Engineering and Approval drawings.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and communicate with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
- Perform quality checks and first-offs in Final Assembly, Paint Line, and product assembled in other departments.
- Review documentation and MES claiming to adhere to customer's specifications and Metalumen standards.
- Coordinate with stockroom to accurately identify material requirements for the scheduled jobs.
- Work towards building a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Build luminaires according to mechanical and electrical wiring diagrams (on-site training).
- Label and identify assembled components according to customer requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Previous lead hand or supervisory position,
- Strong communication and leadership strengths, able to work well with all staff
- Flexibility, willingness to learn
- Ability to read drawings (on-site training)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
