We are committed to ‘measuring twice, cutting once’, and we currently have an opening on our team: Cabinet Maker - Assembly.

The primary tasks of the Cabinet Assembler:

- Assemble store fixtures and displays based on drawings.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and pneumatic tools (drill, nailer, etc.)
- Assemble kitchen cabinets using a case clamp.
- Install drawers & doors hardware as required.
- Install Cabinet hardware (cabinet pulls, pullouts, standards, brackets, etc.)
- Assist experienced cabinet makers on complicated builds to gain experience and learn new skills.
- Sweep, clean, and tidy the shop on a daily basis to ensure a world class manufacturing environment.
- Assist in the smooth operations of a commercial/residential wood shop. The Assemblers may assist in all departments as additional help is needed to meet customer requirements.
- Pack and load cabinets on skids after cabinet assembly is complete
- Assist with laminating/painting cabinets as required, while adhering to all Health and Safety Procedures.

The Cabinet Assembler is the key step towards a lifelong career in Woodworking as GK provides all necessary hands-on training. The cabinet assembler role is great for those who have experience working with wood, power tools or similar concepts, and are looking to specialize in cabinet construction, building displays and store fixtures, and constructing cash counters and reception desks. There will be opportunities to assist in other departments as needed (cutting, machines, saws, assembly, finishing, etc.) GK encourages and offers training for all employees to pursue their red seal in cabinet making.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
