**Front End Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store.
- Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of displays and shelves in the cash area.
- Use the POS system to process transactions
- Assist other departments and functions as required
- Create a shopping experience that impacts customers in a way that enhances enjoyment, sales, and engagement.
- Perform Cash office functions such as balancing cash drawers, completing daily reports, and resolving discrepancies.

**Duties**:

- Manages department staff from hiring, scheduling, providing work direction, to reviewing performance and providing feedback.
- Performs administrative duties including signing time statements for payroll.
- Assists with the maintenance of the POS system including self-serve checkouts.
- Provides exemplary customer service by responding to their inquiries and resolving issues swiftly.
- Performs other related duties as required.

The Front end manager will lead and manage staff to achieve the highest level of customer service.. The front end manager will coach, motivate and develop their team to foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an exceptional environment of employee and customer engagement.

**People Leadership**
- Create a coaching and development culture for all employees, which embraces a passion for food.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership, while serving as a role model.
- Manage staff, from hiring, orientation, training and development, to performance management.
- Act as leader, actively supporting an environment of employee engagement, with respect and appreciation.
- Support, participate and lead community and charitable events and activities.
- Manage store operations as required.

**Other Duties**
- Coordinate maintenance of department equipment and repairs
- Provide feedback for continuous improvement

**Job Requirements**
- Ability to work independently.
- Above average leadership skills.
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
