POSITION: REHABILITATION SUPPORT WORKER (PART-TIME)

LOCATION: WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AROUND THE GTA

JOB SUMMARY

We are a growing healthcare organization with several clinics within Ontario. Our organization provides a wide spectrum of medical services and products within the healthcare industry.

We are currently looking for a remarkable RSW to join our Multidisciplinary clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a growing healthcare organization and build their career.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out assessments within the community to identify what care and support the patient needs
- Working with other professionals to make sure the patient gets the right help
- Provide services in the home, community, social and work settings
- Attend to client appointments and team meetings, as well as allocate time for treatment preparation, travel, reporting and administrative duties

SKILLS
- Good listening and observational skills
- The ability to communicate with other social care professionals at all levels
- Being sensitive to the needs of the people you’re working with
- Digital skills to do online research
- Be able to work under pressure in emotional situations
- A degree, diploma, or certifications in Kinesiology or Occupational/Physiotherapy Assistant
