**Requirements**:

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from an educational facility approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities or the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC).
- Proof of 600 hour program which includes clinical and practicum.
- Demonstrated excellent English reading, writing, speaking, comprehension and clinical skills.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to function both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team member in a fast paced demanding environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude to foster caring and trusting relationships with patients and families in an effort to support patient and family centered care.
- Demonstrates values consistent with the Shouldice Hospital Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment in accordance with Health & Safety policy and legislation.
- A commitment to staff safety, patient safety, and environmental safety.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic documentation systems.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Personal Support Worker: 1 year (required)
