**Job Summary**

To perform specific duties on vehicles so as to correct the body, frame, and/or operations of the vehicles brought in for body shop repairs. To service vehicles in an efficient and ethical manner within the time promised to the customer. Ensuring customer satisfaction by taking pride in all aspects of the work involved.

**What you offer**

**Job Duties**:

- Complete all work per the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
- Maintain an inventory of normal Body Man’s tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by Tony Graham Collision Center as “special tools”.
- Properly operate the special tools and equipment provided by Tony Graham Collision Center. Proper using of special shop tools includes cleaning, repairing, and returning to the proper spot on the tool board or designated areas. Report broken tools to Body Shop Manager.
- Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship. Work in a proactive manner to ensure the production of the next phase of repair can be completed without unnecessary delays.
- Always check all the parts for correctness before starting the repair and notify the Parts Inventory Clerk of any incorrect parts or other discrepancies.
- Adhere to all systems, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P) in an effort to make the Collision Center a better run environment to work in.
- Immediately notify the Tower Controller of any hidden or missed damage that doesn’t appear on the Work Order. This person will then proceed to have the estimator come out to re-appraise the vehicle and sell the work to the customer in a timely and efficient manner.
- All straightening and repairs must be done according to factory specifications, including door, hood, and deck alignments, chassis and frame measurements, welded-on unibody parts, etc.
- Protect the customer’s car to prevent damage and theft during the repairs. This includes but is not limited to the use of seat bags, floor mats, car covers, welding blankets, masking paper, or any other practical method to ensure positive results.
- Use of our seat covers/carpet paper mats is required on all cars.
- Be responsible and accountable for all parts for any jobs that are assigned to you, after you have signed off that you have received all parts correctly (Please review S.O.P for the “Customer update report” usage and reasons). Be organized and develop a system for holding the parts and fasteners until they are installed or re-installed on the vehicle.
