Outside Sales Representatives - RONA Guelph
Responsible for the Account Management of assigned Customers, the duties include Price Negotiation, sourcing special product, relationship building and qualifying new business. The aggressive pursuit of New Leads and developing New Accounts to reinforce RONA Guelph as the supplier of choice in the Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo Regions.

**The Role**:
Develops and maintains Sales for the assigned existing accounts.
Actively recruits new customers by establishing contact, understanding their business and offering solutions.
Establishes a schedule for visiting job sites and maintaining contact with their customers is essential for maintaining strong relationships, staying current with ongoing projects and managing any customer needs and follow-ups.
Identifying any surplus materials onsite vis-à-vis estimates and proactively managing the situation by deducting from future deliveries or arranging returns is appreciated.
Provides a service to customer base including price and delivery quotation, sourcing new or unique products, following-up on orders and completing material estimates as required.
Negotiates with customer to secure future business.
Creates Orders and coordinates Delivery to customer through expediting team and Logistics Department.
Reviews blueprints and material take-offs with customer to ensure clarity on the scope of work in relation to the estimate.
Coordinates the sourcing of special order non-stock items from vendors via the Inside Team and arranges pricing while communicating lead times and delivery to the customer.
Arranges for pick up from supplier as needed.
Meets with the Credit Administrator on a monthly basis to collaborate on the Accounts Receivable and follows-up on overdue accounts with customer as required.
Meets regularly with the Sales Director to review Sales performance, status of assigned accounts as well as growth and development opportunities within the Market.
Remains current with Product Knowledge, industry trends and market dynamics.
Performs other related job functions as required.

The Position requires:
- The ability to assess opportunities and adopt sales strategies to correspond with general market place and competitive pressures.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to operate within a diverse base of customers and co-workers.
- Persuasion and decisiveness when negotiating with customers and suppliers.
- Tact, good judgment and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.
- Accuracy and close attention to detail when preparing quotations and orders.
- Flexibility to manage and ensure timely completion of multiple tasks.
- Commitment to work schedules beyond the norm.
- Understanding the risk in driving to and visiting job sites while respecting the Occupational Health & Safety Protocols.

**Salary**: $30,000.00-$101,384.38 per year
