**HR Talent Acquisition Specialist - French & English**

**Job Overview**:
**Competitive Salary starting at $57,000 depending on level of experience.**
**Must have 10 years Canadian Residency and the capability to achieve or already have a ‘Secret’ level Canadian clearance**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Work with Zoho ATS ( applicant tracking system )
- Helping put together and completing on-boarding packages for regular employees and for the more complicated hiring paths that include positions with Canadian Security Clearance requirements
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for the various Operations Managers and Supervisors as needed
- Provide weekly updates to Operations and hiring managers on the status of the recruitment process for open, filled, in-pipeline positions.
- Helping HR Generalist with some training of supervisors
- Other duties as may be required
**Required Skills/Abilities**:
- Fluency in oral and written French and English is a must.
- CHRP would be considered an asset
- Bachelor’s degree, or diploma in related field is considered an asset
- 1 to 2 years as a talent acquisition specialist
- Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable transportation to various sites required
**Working Conditions**:
This role requires work at the company Head Office or at various locations throughout Ottawa, and occasionally other city locations in Ontario to conduct investigations, provide coaching/support, and facilitate learning. This position generally works Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern time but may occasionally require some additional hours on evenings and weekends as needed.
