**Responsibilities & Expectations**:
We are looking for a skilled Switchgear or Transformer Field Service Specialist for our Canada Field Service Division.
- Inspect, test, and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical power distribution equipment.
- Partner with sales team to draft quote proposals for future work.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and to customers.
- Draft and finalize inspection and maintenance reports for customers in conjunction with other technicians.
- Develop new customer interest by partnering up with sales team for onsite calls.
- Support existing customer base by providing World Class service.

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- Minimum of 5 years of low, medium, and high voltage switchgear testing, repair, and quoting.
- 2+ years’ experience working with low and medium voltage pad mount transformers - testing, oil sampling, and component change out preferred.
- 3 years’ experience working with protection relays.
- NETA certification preferred.
- Electrical journeyperson or Certified Engineering Technologist required at minimum.
- Strong analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work overtime when needed.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as customers require.
- Valid driver’s license throughout employment.
