Apply now and start your adventure with usResponsibilities & ExpectationsInspect, test, and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical power distribution equipment.Partner with sales team to draft quote proposals for future work.Provide technical guidance to the team and to customers.Draft and finalize inspection and maintenance reports for customers in conjunction with other technicians.Develop new customer interest by partnering with the sales team for onsite calls.Support existing customer base by providing World Class service.Qualifications And CompetenciesMinimum of 5 years of low, medium, and high voltage switchgear testing, repair, and quoting.2+ years’ experience working with low and medium voltage pad mount transformers – testing, oil sampling, and component change out preferred.3 years’ experience working with protection relays.NETA certification preferred.Electrical journeyperson or Certified Engineering Technologist required at minimum.Strong analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.Able to work overtime when needed.Willingness to travel and work away from home as customers require.Valid driver’s license throughout employment.BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO).RRSP Employer Match.Bonus Incentives.Tuition Reimbursement Program.Medical, Dental and Vision plans.Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP).Safety shoes & glasses reimbursement.And moreYou’ll Thrive At IPS If YouLead with integrity and prioritize safety.
