**Specific tasks will include**:

- Completing data entry and collecting transaction details for incoming and outgoing bank accounts.
- Reconcile or report any discrepancies in financial reports.
- Reconciliation of bank and and credit card accounts
- Send out monthly customer statements and contact customers with overdue accounts
- Track expenses, vendor payment management and payment of invoices
- Complete bi-weekly payroll, submit remittances & T4, for 50 - 100 employees.
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions
- Reconciling entiriesto balance subsidiary accounts
- Manage WCB account
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Prepare and file the monthly GST remittance.
- Prepare files for year end for the external accountant’s review
- Ensure compliance with the CRA and any other Provincial and Federal bodies

**Bookkeeping Skills**:

- Excellent Proficiency with Sage50 Desktop, spreadsheets, and other databases to post upto date financial transactions
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Data entry
- Deep understanding of accounting principles
- Attention to detail

**Additional Qualifications**:
∙Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams,)

∙Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential material

∙Provide feedback and assist in building financial and inventory forecasts

∙Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency

∙Experience with managerial/cost accounting

∙Familiarity with preparing cash flow projections

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
