**The Role: Recruitment Coordinator**

**About the Job**

Vancity is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to provide administrative support to Vancity’s team of recruiters and to serve as a key point of contact both internally and externally. We are looking for a team-player who is passionate about recruitment and interested in growing their career in recruitment. This opportunity is suited to those with minimum two years of related experience, including solid administrative, organization, communication and coordination skills. Through your work the capacity of the Recruitment team will be optimized enabling the achievement of established business goals.

**In this role, you will**:

- Facilitate the work of the team by anticipating needs and managing all administrative support functions (e.g. supporting leaders with the use of Talent tools, information triage and exchange, meeting management, report preparation, expense claims) in order to free up capacity.
- Provide recommendations to optimize and maintain integrated tools, systems, policies and procedures (including providing recommendations to the Innovation and Impact team) enabling the achievement of business objectives.

**A typical day would involve**:

- Serving as a primary point-of-contact for the recruitment team to support with all aspects of the recruiting life-cycle
- Analyzing, re-directing and resolving Service Request Tickets in an accurate and timely manner in alignment with Human Resources policies and procedures
- Preparing employment offer letters and assisting with new hire on-boarding process by generating workflows
- Managing the Employee Referral Program and ensuring payouts are processed when applicable
- Collaborating with the recruitment team and other departments with various initiatives

- **Exceptionally organized -** You have exceptional time management skills and are able to adhere to strict deadlines by executing support functions in a timely manner and efficiently prioritizing tasks
- **A great communicator - **You are professional yet personable with your interactions with others (in-person, written and over the phone). This includes excellent grammar, business letter and writing skills.
- **Highly adaptable**- You are able to navigate through change easily and are comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude
- **Tech**-savvy** - You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, navigating Applicant Tracking Systems, creating social media content on platforms which as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and are quick to pick up new processes and programs when needed
- **Creative problem solver **- You think proactively, objectively and independently when making decisions and identifying possible solutions or road blocks in order to support a continuous improvement culture that looks to do things smarter, better, faster
- **A team** player** - You possess high emotional intelligence with strong relationship building and diplomacy skills.

**You Have**:

- Post secondary education/diploma in Human Resources or related field
- At least 2 years related experience ideally in client/member-facing talent acquisition, recruiting, operations and/or administrative support roles
