Blackbird is a quickly growing company and has built a reputation for excellence by setting the standards for superior performance and excellent customer service. We are looking to hire a **Recruiting Coordinator **that will help us continue to build and grow our teams

This is a critical and pivotal role in our development as a growing company, one that requires experience, commitment to our purpose, and a can-do attitude, amongst other attributes.

This role will work with Recruiting Manager to focus on recruiting security guards for our various locations across Canada. This includes screening resumes, conducting interviews, offering positions, and completing new hire/onboarding paperwork and processes.

The Recruiting Coordinator will work a 40 hour work week. Our business operates 24/7 and in this role your working days will be from Monday - Friday, where you will work from our Vancouver, BC office on weekdays.

Regular hours will be 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and flexible as needed.

**Job Duties**
- Collecting new hire information and completing new hire/onboarding documentation.
- Scheduling and reviewing orientations for new hires.
- Post job advertisements and explore alternate platforms or methods of advertising.
- Manage and oversee open ads and recruitment platforms, with the support of our Head Office Recruiting team.
- Other recruitment-related activities as directed by the leadership team.

**Requirements**:

- Experience or knowledge of the Security Industry is an asset.
- Experience in recruiting or related activities is required.
- Degree in Human Resources Management is an asset.
- Experience with administration is plus.
- Strong English skills.
- Has full-time availability
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Is able to report to our Vancouver, BC office regularly.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
