**Position**:Psychotherapist (Clinical Supervisor)
**Position Description**:The Psychotherapist (Clinical Supervisor) works across our spectrum of programs serving men and women with problematic substance use/concurrent disorders. The Psychotherapist (Clinical Supervisor) assists the Director of Clinical Programs and Services with the management of the Psychotherapy program and Online Treatment programs, including program design, clinical and educational supervision of students and volunteers, auditing and maintenance of clinical records, consultation with other clinical staff, and carrying a small caseload of individual clients.
**Job Type**: 0.4 FTE (2 days per week)
**Salary**: $31,295 inclusive of yearly retention incentive

The key responsibilities of the Psychotherapist (Clinical Supervisor) include:
- weekly clinical supervision of 6 to 8 practicum students;
- communicating with education programs and completing student evaluations
- day-to-day management of the Psychotherapy and Online Treatment programs, including admissions and discharges;
- weekly attendance at one or more case conferences;
- utilizing our Client Management System to its full capacity for admission, case notes, discharge and management of the client file;
- working with the Director on design and implementation issues;
- liaising with community and allied services, resources, partners and referral sources
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in program
- Knowledge of a broad range of psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic
- Experience in clinical
- Comprehensive knowledge of issues related to addiction, concurrent disorder, mental health, trauma and recovery.
- Knowledge of the spectrum of harm reduction and abstinence approaches to problematic substance
- Understanding of and commitment to health equity, diversity and
- Strong skills with Catalyst or other Client Management
- Knowledge and experience with the principles of adult
- Demonstrated ability to integrate current best practice and research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data (from multiple sources) to problem
- solve and make decisions effectively, using a systems approach.
- Extensive knowledge and skills in assessment, supportive counseling, case coordination/management and brief-intervention skills.
- Experience and skills working with individuals affected by poverty, violence, homelessness, institutionalization (incarceration), stigma, racism and/or homophobia/transphobia.
- Knowledge of the impact of social/cultural/economic factors on the determinants of
- Knowledge, understanding and sensitivity to the complexity of issues arising for individuals who have experienced homelessness, addictions, poverty and/or mental illness.
- Ability to work collaboratively within and across interdisciplinary teams and community
- Ability to work with clients presenting with a wide range of mental health
- Demonstrated flexibility, sound judgment, initiative and

**Qualifications**:
- Graduate degree in Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychology, or equivalent education and related work
- Membership in good standing of a regulated health profession permitted to conduct the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy, the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario strongly
- Five years clinical
- Meets the CRPO criteria for independent practice (1000 hours of direct client contact, 150 hours of clinical supervision).
- Must have completed OR must agree to complete 30 hours of directed learning in providing clinical
- Demonstrated experience in screening, assessment, and treatment related to concurrent disorders and trauma.
- Demonstrated experience with group development, facilitation and evaluation is an
- Proficiency and ability to work in both French and English is an
