We are looking for an energetic individual who loves to travel as a Field Education Manager for Kao Canada representing our Oribe Brand. Oribe blends craftsmanship, performance, and decades of styling experience from the top of the editorial and salon worlds. Your role would be to coordinate and organize In Salon Education, Field Events, and events at our World Class Salon Academy. To this end, for us here at Kao, we consider sustainability as the only path forward. to everyday life, to society, and to the planet. **What you will do**: - Support Brand Executive by coordinating in-salon education programs as required, to provide Stylist across the country with confidence with inspiration. - Plan and organize Oribe seminars throughout Canada - Build and create sell sheet and presentations through Adobe, Microsoft PowerPoint being fluent with adobe/ excel/ ppt would be an asset. - Work closely with Brand Executive in the designated region to identify potential new customers and strengthen relationships with existing partners - Maintain monthly activity report through excel, share success and opportunities with your manager and education team **Work with Oribe Brand Executives**: - Co-ordinate field programs and In salon activities, collaboratively with your sales and education team partners - Taking initiative in decision making regarding education programs in respective territories that will promote growth and brand awareness - Always looking to source out high potential non-KAO salons in collaboration with your Brand Executives **Reporting of Field Activity**: - Completing monthly education reports (tracking field and in-salon, projects) - Future field and in salon classes for previous years - Tracking and managing Oribe education spend **Personal Activity Expectations/Time Management**: - 8 hours home office time per week, or field as required - Attend meetings & trainings to support and represent Kao as needed - Ability to travel when required **Other Job Responsibilities**: - Planning, development and execution of major industry shows, launches & meetings (Regional events and shows within territory, and help support PR events when needed. - Able to create sell sheet and be fluent with adobe/ excel/ Microsoft power point - Set up venues / academy and prepare presentations for studio session (includes all client class assets) - Communicate with venue / catering / av rental / model agency / event rental groups - Communicate with salons for follow up on artist private classes - Must be able to travel - Support BE with artist in salon classes - Help assist with new salon opening and pk sessions if needed, when BE are unable - Support BE with detailing days (meeting clients to gain loyalty and relationships) - Coordinating - Education classes and working closely with your reporting manager on these tasks **Education Required**: - Microsoft office capabilities beneficial - Event planning benefit but not mandatory - Active Certificate, Qualification/Hairstyling license - benefit but not mandatory **Experience**: - Customer relations - Office skills Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office (Windows environment) - Event planning skills - Salon Experience - benefit but not mandatory **Communication**: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating good grammar - Excellent team player (works well with others) - Strong Interpersonal (people relations) skills - Self-motivated with ability to motivate and influence others Oribe is part of Kao founded in Japan in 1887, Kao is passionate about making a difference in people's lives with our high-quality products and services to create a Kirei Life for all - a beautiful life that respects the needs of our consumers and customers as well as the planet.
