We are hiring a Traffic Coordinator. Do you have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport, negotiate and build relationships? Are you an organized individual who can meet deadlines under pressure? If so, this position may be for you

This position coordinates the transport of stock and customer ordered trailer, truck, and bus inventory, ensuring that the equipment is moved efficiently and profitably while maintaining a high level of customer and supplier satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the movement of units from factories to various destinations
- Locate carriers, negotiate freight rates, schedule decking/undecking
- Maintain a high level of customer and supplier satisfaction
- Monitor factory completion times and release units accordingly
- Maintain and coordinate all related administration with detailed information on unit’s movements and forward to appropriate parties when necessary
- Issue internal/external purchase orders as required
- Approve all factory, freight, and brokerage invoices
- Work with Lease and Rental team members to maximize interbranch unit transfers
- Other Duties as assigned

**Ideal qualifications**:

- 2+ years logistics experience
- 2+ years office administration experience
- Dealership and Industry knowledge preferred
- Business administration and/or negotiation course preferred
- Knowledge of Canada’s highway traffic laws
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to establish rapport, negotiate, and build relationships
- Organized, sets priorities, and meets deadlines under pressure
- Numerical accuracy, attention to detail, analytical
- Intermediate MS Office skills with ability to learn in-house business system
- Ability to work well with interruptions
- Team player, takes initiative
