**Business Development Representative**

We are currently seeking a **Business Development Representative** to support our team and drive strategic growth in power generation, high voltage, gas processing, oil, fractionation, carbon sequestration, and hydrogen generation sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in business development within the energy and power industries to join a collaborative team committed to excellence.

As a member of our business development team your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Leverage your network to Identify, grow and maintain strong relationships with decision makers in the energy and power industries and support both organic and new business growth.
- Source and prospect new clients proactively.
- Make virtual and in-person sales calls.
- Follow up on leads and referrals.
- Follow up with clients on an on-going basis and foster positive relationships.
- Participate in, and contribute to, ongoing internal business development strategy sessions.
- Report weekly on status of contacts and project prospects.
- Represent GLE with a positive, professional attitude and a willingness to help us grow our business.

**Requirements**:

- Established relationships in the energy and power generation industries and a passion for developing new ones.
- Two or more years’ experience developing and executing business development strategies and plans ideally in the Canadian energy and/or power industry.
- General technical knowledge of engineering and power generation projects is considered an asset. A degree or diploma in one of the fields of Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Management is considered an asset but is not a requirement for the position.
- Experience in developing relationships with clients and potential clients.
- Previous experience in the areas of power generation and high voltage is considered an asset.
- Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), and people skills.
- Ability to work and adapt in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
- Occasional travel to attend trade shows and seminars will be required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
