PASAJ is a Brunch/Lunch Restaurant that serves fusion menu that combines North American classics with Turkish Cuisines. We pride ourselves to make everything from scratch. Our Comissary Kitchen: SIMIT Bakery provides all daily pastries, breads and desserts made from scratch while our PREP Kitchen prepares all sauces, pastes and bases. We serve a menu with some staple items as well as seasonal dishes.
We are looking to hire senior line cooks to join our growing team.
**Responsibilities**:
Perform delegated tasks from Chefs
Efficiently prepare stations to ensure a successful brunch/lunch service
Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specification as set by the restaurant
Perform food preparation such as cutting/chopping vegetables, proportioning, weighing/measuring and mixing ingredients
Assist in properly receiving and storing delivered items
Clean and sanitize food prep areas, equipment, utensils and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
**Qualifications**:
At least 8 year of line/prep cook experience
Preferably holds a culinary school degree
Advanced level knife skills
Available day time and weekends (both weekend days are a must)
Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts standing
Safe Food Handlers is an asset
