SPAAR Inc. is recruiting a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. We primarily work with residential new builds, single family homes, and apartment buildings. This position is responsible for the delivery of materials required for insulating, boarding and taping of buildings. It requires interacting with various departments. The position focuses on deliveries and the following is not an all-inclusive listing of work requirements. The Delivery Driver will be working with another employee to help with the deliveries, pickup of drywall and scaffolding at our job sites. This position is based in Calgary, AB. Start time 5:30am.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Delivery and pickup of scaffolding pieces to current / on-going jobs sites
- Deliver insulation and drywall as needed to our job sites
- Report all misuse, vandalism, damage, sustained by Warehouse and/or vehicles to Warehouse Manager
- Knowledge of operating hand tools - manual and powered
- Maintain daily records of all operations in deliveries
- Cleanliness of the delivery trucks is a requirement
- Seasonal maintenance may be required (e.g. snow removal etc.)
- All safety guidelines and use of personal protective equipment should be followed as outlined in the SPAAR safety manual
- Physically capable of lifting 50 - 70 pounds
- Performance of duties of similar complexity as assigned from time to time by the Warehouse Manager, President/CEO and Owners of Spaar Inc.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or relevant position
- Strong ability to assess urgency and prioritize work accordingly
- Strong organizational skills, including time management
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team with or without close supervision

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent skills and experience
- Minimum Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License
- A valid driver’s abstract will be required as a condition of employment
- Experience in the construction industry in a residential drywall environment
- Familiarity with driving in Calgary and the surrounding areas
- Must be able to meet deadlines, self-motivate, be flexible, and handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, representatives of builders, and the public
- Basic computer skills are required
- Drivers will need to work in all weather conditions
- Experience in the commercial drywall industry is an asset
