**Purpose of the position**:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting the correct products or merchandise to customers who have requested that their goods be delivered. The Delivery Driver ensures service excellence is a priority and remains an ambassador of Mint Health + Drugs in all interactions.

**Reports to: Pharmacy Manager**

**Responsibilities**:
**Service Excellence**
- Obtain copies of orders to be delivered
- Deliver goods and products to customers
- Ensure all goods marked for delivery correspond to the appropriate invoice
- Maintain necessary delivery information on all accounts
- Provide special deliveries as per set timeframes and requests
- Ensure courteous and friendly interactions with customers and patients
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Comply with all driving rules and laws while operating a vehicle for deliveries
- Complete a pre-trip inspection for all equipment to be used
- Load orders into truck or car
- Collect amount due, where appropriate
- Ensure the vehicle remains secure when delivering goods and the vehicle is unattended
- Authorized Charge accounts, have invoice signed by customer for proof of delivery
- Complete all scheduled deliveries
- Communicate with management regarding all delivery issues
- Complete all driver check in/out and complete end of day settlement and deposit
- Exercise proper care of all company supplied materials
- Safely operate a company owned delivery vehicle
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Follow the principles of patient centered care when delivering care
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and outside
- Present driver abstract on an annual basis to management
- Can easily lift up to 50 lbs

**Education and Experience**:

- College graduate
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum one year delivery experience

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Safely operate a motor vehicle respecting safety for self and others
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Communicates effectively at all levels
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Willingness and ability to work in all types of weather
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ambassador of Mint Health + Drugs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
