**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist with basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading operations.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred; familiarity with freight handling is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required during deliveries.
- Previous experience in automotive repair is desirable but not mandatory.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $23.09 per hour

Expected hours: 100 per week
