Consolidation & Reporting Manager - Permanent

Avanquest is looking for a Manager of consolidations and reporting to join the Financial team.
**Job details**:
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Legal department, you will be responsible for all facets of equity accounting and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
You will assist with balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analyses, the global consolidation process and internal management reporting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Compilation of consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements)
- Prepare quarterly consolidated financial reporting
- Support the team with review of financial data
- Assist with global consolidation and consolidating journal entries
- Assist in review of key global consolidated accounts
- Assist with review of consolidated intercompany transactions
- Assist with the preparation and review of local statutory financial statements
- Assist in the review of foreign financial results
- Assist with compiling the quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests
- Assist with technical accounting research and drafting supporting memos
- Review of global foreign currency rates
- Liaise and support international finance and accounting team
- Liaise and support financial planning team
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
- CPA Preferred
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Big 4 firm or large corporate accounting department of multinational public company
- Experience with equity accounting and global consolidations
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with Opera reporting or Consolidation Reporting Software would be appreciated
- Strong analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards a must
**Location**:
This position is in hybrid mode located in Ville St-Laurent.
