**POSITION**:
We are currently looking for 1 Part-Time Marketing and IT Coordinators to contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies, helping to promote our brand and engage with our target audience.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will encompass:

- Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns
- Coordinate and execute various marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media, events, and content creation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business goals
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to track campaign effectiveness
- Support the management of social media platforms and engage with online communities
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed
- Provide assistance to office users in configuring and testing IT and audio-visual equipment, including computers, projectors, screens, and related items
- Conduct both on-site troubleshooting to identify the underlying causes of issues
- Escalate unresolved matters to the IT and Admin Specialist and collaboratively resolving technical challenges
- Maintain an organized and meticulously maintained facility environment
- Document responses to provide support for events, ensuring accurate tracking of incident progress
- Fulfilling any other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including social media platforms and analytics as well as AI tools (Chat GPT, midjourney, and etc.)
- Extensive familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video-conference platforms
- Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising
- High level of comfort in engaging with individuals of diverse personalities in person, over the phone, and via remote tools
- Capability to handle heavy equipment, up to 30 lbs in weight
- Pursuing or holding a college or university degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Ability to multitask effectively and work autonomously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with an eye for design and visual aesthetics
- Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Desired Skills:

- Exceptional customer service acumen and punctuality
- Strong organizational skills, enabling effective planning and task management within time constraints
- Keen attention to detail
- Aptitude for collaborative teamwork
- Preferred experience in cadets or military roles

**WORK HOURS**:
September to December, with possibility to extend.

While members are contacted for various projects, be prepared to work about 10 to 20 hours per week on:

- Thursday: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Alternate Friday to Monday: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour
