**The Opportunity**
Our British Columbia and Yukon Provincial Head Office is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is an innovator, entrepreneur, and a strategist to be part of our business development team. The incumbent will be responsible for growing the St. John Ambulance brand by making outbound sales calls to identified prospects and providing ongoing support for named accounts. The position will require the ability to quickly build business relationships with customers, manage our CRM, and work collaboratively with various SJA departments.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Cultivate and maintain business relationships;
- Understand customer needs and requirements;
- Make outbound sales calls to identified prospects and provide ongoing support for named accounts;
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process;
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects;
- Develop and execute plans for growth;
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to inside sales;
- Deliver a great experience to our customers when working with our organization;
- Forecast, measure, and report the results; and
- Keep a great ongoing relationship with current customers and offer new ways to grow the partnership.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Some post-secondary education is preferred;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales is ideal;
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner, organize tasks, and set priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, to work as an effective member of a team, as well as the ability to exercise high levels of independence, judgment, leadership, and initiative with mínimal supervision;
- A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships at all levels;
- Strong business acumen and account management skills;
- Analytical, self-starter, problem-solver, and holds a strong sense of accountability;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey the mission of SJA;
- Embrace and promote teamwork, including experience sharing and market knowledge;
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM; and
- Strategic thinker with an amiable personality and positive outlook.
