IT and Security Department

The Vantage Data Centers IT and Security department is very involved in the field. In most cases, we determine, purchase and configure all network hardware and servers, and we take care of its maintenance. We also work in partnership with our suppliers to stay informed of the latest technological changes, so that we can make informed purchasing decisions. The IT department is always looking for ways to achieve the best possible balance between technology, performance and costs. Vantage IT also participates in the design of each network infrastructure for our new data centers, which includes, but is not limited to: various diversified routes connected to carriers, interconnect rooms, server rooms (cabinets, cable shelf, interconnection panels, etc.), wireless coverage, etc. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and helping to design, build and maintain IT infrastructure in a modern data center, come work at Vantage. Duties- Implement configuration drift detection and remediation processes to ensure systems remain in a secure and compliant state.- Implement controls and measures to prevent common security misconfigurations and exposures.- Monitor security advisories and alerts from vendors and security organizations to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.- Integrate automation tools with existing systems and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.- Implement self-service automation capabilities for common user requests and tasks.- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.- Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions for IT staff on configuration management and vulnerability remediation processes.- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key metrics and performance indicators.

Job Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.- 3-5 years of Infrastructure Configuration and Vulnerability Management experience or relevant work experience- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining a distributed patch management infrastructure- Excellent automation, reporting and troubleshooting skills- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems- Excellent customer service and problem-solving, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate with Senior Executive to CxO-level personnel and other global stakeholders- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.- Work under limited supervision, both independently and within a team environment.- Bilingualism (French and English) is desired for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interactions with vis-à-vis from the same department and stakeholders in the US, Europe and APAC
