**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**

Performs the following duties:

- Cuts, shapes and fits materials to form parts and components.
- Screws, glues, clips bonds, spot welds and otherwise assembles parts and components to form final products.
- Sands, trims, grinds or cleans products into final form using hand tools.
- Checks manufactured items for defects.
- Collects and transmits limited information important to higher level decision making.
- Little set-up and maintenance responsibility of equipment.
- Welding and fabrication of products. No certification is required for welding and can be taught to those without experience.
- Other duties as required.

**SKILLS**
- Must have completed high school and/or have equivalent work experience.
- Interpersonal skills are needed to deal with a variety of contacts.
- Must have routine problems solving skills to solve job related problems.
- Must have developed complicated gross motor skills to use simple tools.

**EFFORT REQUIRED**
- Periods of restricted movement and concentration will limit job mobility.
- Occasional lifting and repetitive motion will be required of the incumbent.
- Position requires no external contact with individual outside of the plant.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Work temperatures will vary on occasion from normal comfort levels.
- Little background noise should be contended with in this role.
- Co-works and management will interrupt the work process predictably.
- Incumbent will be exposed to some health risks due to the physical environment.
