**Position Summary**:
Trend Micro is seeking a **Strategic Solutions Sales Manager **to lead Trend Micro's growth strategies toward our XDR solutions, helping existing customers and prospects to address their cyber security needs. The Strategic Solutions Sales Manager will develop and manage the strategy, plans, and programs to achieve and exceed organic revenue growth goals on our XDR platform. This individual will manage critical relationships with strategic companies and continue to brand Trend Micro with the customer's executive staff and management, including SOC, IR, Risk, Compliance, etc. The Strategic Solutions Sales Manager, will be tasked to create awareness related to Trend Micro’s XDR solutions and to build solid relationships to propose solutions and address customer cyber security needs.
The Strategic Solutions Sales Manager will become our trusted advisor on the XDR platform and be one of our top business evangelists.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and drive account plans to increase our XDR platform presence in the Canadian market (strategic accounts)
- Identify and collaborate with the sales and channel team to recruit, bring on board, and enable SOC and MSSPs type of partners.
- Lead brainstorming and discovery sessions with customers to help them identify potential cyber security use cases.
- Help customers define requirements for RFPs, and PoC projects.
- Aligned with the sales engineering team, use the Vision One platform to build PoCs and demos based on customer requirements
- Define and manage a standardized onboarding process for new strategic customers
- Engage in community evangelism activities through blogs, white papers, videos, short product demo videos, and other marketing assets.
- Continuously use and test the Vision One platform as it is being developed
- Partner with the engineering and RD teams to provide feedback and ideate new features for the Vision One platform
- Produce and execute lead generation plans with marketing, partner, and sales team.
- Enable strategic customers through training and education on our Vision One platform.
- Development and manage events in support of Trend Micro strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations for growing customer relationships.
- Deliver professional sales presentations to potential prospect organizations and existing clients with the ability to persuade and create opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of deal registrations, pipelines, and strategic customer engagements.
- Research trends, competition - primarily Canadian market but including other US and international sources
- Project and promote Trend Micro XDR initiatives to new audiences and partners.
**Required Qualifications**:

- Be positive, creative, and relentless.
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic sales or business development
- 7+ years of successful direct sales experience
- Able to travel to domestic and international locations to meet and liaise with potential clients. Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Proven ability to negotiate and work with high-level executives
- Strong analytic skills (financial, planning, operational)
- Demonstrated drive to solve problems in a matrix team environment and to lead with high energy and a positive attitude
- Experience in working as part of a senior management team and leading organizational strategy
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and oral
- 5+ years of related technical experience with Cyber Security, SOC, Risk Management, Services
- Strong understanding of SOC, MSSPs ecosystems, and Cyber Security frameworks
- Ability to assess and align solutions, product features, and company capabilities with customer needs
- Presentation & workshop leadership skills, ability to tailor value technical conversations through executive leadership audiences
