**Silvatech Consulting Ltd., **established in 1983, is a progressive developer of technological solutions in forest resource management. The Silvatech Group provides professional services in timber development, waste and residue surveys, resource inventories & mapping and climate change mitigation. Silvatech is accepting resumes for the position(s) of **Waste and Residue Surveyors**. The position(s) require resource technicians to carry out waste and residue surveys at various locations in the Interior of BC. We are a family friendly company. The position(s) are full-time seasonal (8-10 months/yr.). We offer competitive remuneration and benefits commensurate with experience and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with waste and residue surveys and/or log scaling in BC
- Forest Technologist Diploma and/or BC Log Scaler License;
- RFT or RPF is an asset
- Cruising and/or silviculture survey experience is an asset
- Efficient and safety conscious with field operations and equipment
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Good people / team player skills
- A mature, teachable, flexible attitude
- Good computer / technology skills
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Level 1 First Aid, S100, ATV safety and Bear Aware training

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Waste and Residue Surveys
- GPS operations
- Primarily field work with significant daily travel
- Mostly home at night
- Some camp work
