**Job Purpose**

To support continuous and safe production of reliable heat exchangers for our automotive and off-highway recreation vehicle customers through the repair and improvement of equipment.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance to all tooling including but not limited to stamping dies, swage fixtures, leak test fixtures, roll forming tooling and general machining.
- Complete work orders in E-Maint CMMS including Preventative Maintenance, Scheduled Corrective Maintenance, Non-Scheduled Corrective and Project Maintenance.
- Close out work orders in E-Maint CMMS including adding parts and labor to work orders.
- Respond to emergency breakdown Tool & Die phone pages in a timely fashion.
- Actively participate in tooling upgrades and or improvements.
- Escalate tooling concerns to toolroom supervision.
- Perform all work while observing industry best practices.
- Proficient in the use of milling machine, lathe, saw, drill press, surface grinder, welding machine tig, mig, stick, and overhead crane.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- perform scheduled P/M plan
- fabricate and repair tools. dies, fixtures, jigs. according to engineered drawings.
- Work within your capabilities and within the constraints of your specific trade.
- Actively participate in process improvements including DOS activities.
- Conduct all work while observing Dana’s Health and Safety policies.
- Conduct all work while observing Dana’s Quality policies.
- Attend monthly toolbox and hourly communication meetings.
- Be familiar with and support departmental and company KPIs.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner and always demonstrate respect for fellow workers.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Understanding Dana's focus on customer centricity - “The voice of the customer” and safety as everyone’s priority.
- Test runs with completed repair to ensure that the parts meet specifications and adjust as necessary before going into service production.
- work with engineering and production on solutions and improvements on tooling.

**Qualifications**
- Certified Tool and Die Maker in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades.
- Minimum of 5+ years of Tool Room experience.
- Excellent analytical abilities and a solid background in hand tool/machine shop equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Highly motivated, organized and able to prioritize.
- Team player with the ability to perform tasks safely and productively.
- Experience in an industrial setting.

Must work within the framework of Dana’s Environmental policy which includes reducing waste, protecting the environment, and ensuring that all matters that can be recycled are.
