**Contact**: Viking-Cives LTD 42626 Grey Rd 109, Mt Forest, ON N0G 2L0 P: 519.323.4433 F: 519.323.4608 **Subject: Industrial Painter** **Job Number: VCL-0706** **Job Summary**: **(This position is hiring for afternoon shift)** **Job Duties & Requirements**: - Mix, agitate, and dispense finishing material. - Clean, set up, and adjust pumps, agitators, regulators, spray guns, and wiping materials. - Review, monitor, and share feedback with the supervisor, production operator and support staff as it relates to the "normal function" of process. - Set up, clean and/or replace booth filters, part carriers/sawhorses, etc. - Perform daily "housekeeping duties" which are specified as part of daily production painter activity (sweeping, wiping, discarding waste, etc). - Ability and desire to learn finishing technology. - Ability and willingness to work with paint products. - Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals. - Willing to adapt to a continually changing environment. - Committed to team success through reliable attendance. - Ability to make decisions based on a given set of criteria. - Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job (lifting, bending, wiping, standing in place) for periods of up to 10 or 12 hours. - Liquid paint experience preferred. **Skills & Qualifications**: - Quality Assurance Inspection - Equipment maintenance **Education & Experience**: - Viking-Cives would like to thank all applicants, however, only those to be considered for an interview will be contacted._ **Benefits**: - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - On-site parking - Profit sharing Schedule: - 10 hour shift - Evening shift - Overtime Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Mount Forest, ON N0G 2L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - Liquid Industrial Painting: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
